Bernardsville Estates, Heritage Court, Bernardsville Township, NJ

The project consisted of the construction of multiple single family homes in Bernardsville Township, Somerset County. Wetlands are encountered along a narrow un-named stream, tributary to North Branch Raritan River, which required extensive environmental permitting. Because of this challenge the site was undeveloped for years. The project proposed to extend and widen an existing dirt access roadway to improve ingress and egress from the site, which required extensive site grading and roadway geometry for access and traffic safety adding to the difficulty of minimizing impacts to environmentally sensitive areas. Our Environmental Engineers recognized the problem and found a solution to mitigate on-site and average the impacts to critical areas. The project scope entailed concept to final design and construction, to project punch list and close out. The project was valued at $25-million dollars.
